How to Transfer Music From Ipod to Itunes and Pc


Turn on your iPod to manual update and enable disk use: It is the first and most basic step of how to transfer music from an iPod to iTunes.

1. Open iTunes on your old computer.
2. Connect your iPod to your old computer and should appear in iTunes.
3. Select your iPod in the Source pane in the Devices section to display your iPod preferences in the window of the main library.
4. Click the Summary tab in the main iTunes window.
5. Click Manually manage music. Changing the automatic update to manual puts a check mark by the use of the disk. A message says “Disabling automatic update requires manually unmount the iPod before each disconnect.”
6. Click OK in the message window.
7. Click Apply in the iPod preferences section of the iTunes window.
2. Is there enough space on the iPod? IPod share disk space between the pieces that are placed by iTunes and all files you added using the disk mode. To transfer music to your iPod, you need enough free space to save all your music files in addition to copies that have already been put into itunes (because non-purchased songs placed on the iPod with iTunes not can copy all your iPod in disk mode). To calculate how much space you have on your iPod:
1. Open iTunes on your old computer.
2. Click on music in the main panel. The size of your library appears at the bottom of the iTunes window.
3. Connect your iPod to your old computer and should appear in iTunes.
